EASI-SCAN: GO IMV IMAGING – SONORITE’S SECRET TO SUCCESS

EASI-SCAN: GO IMV Imaging

INNOVATIVE VETERINARY ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGY

Did you know?

Veterinary theriogenology first utilised real-time ultrasonography in horses circa 1980. [1]

By the mid-1990s, research shifted to field applications; and with the advent of portable machines, its use became mainstream in the farming sector. [2]

Modern-day bovine practitioners trust Easi-Scan: Go for its ease of use and robust reliability.

The scanner is purpose-built for fertility examinations and has non-reproductive applications.

In South Africa, it is a Sonorite customer favourite.

Veterinary Ultrasound

~ definition: veterinary ultrasound

– uses high-frequency sound waves (1.5 – 15 MHz) to create images of an animal’s body structures.

A transducer probe directs sound into the body and receives echoes that bounce back off organs and tissues.

Echo patterns are sent electronically to the machine’s computer and converted into images.

It is a non-invasive technique.
